Apple VP Phil Schiller said today there are no plans to sell or support Windows on an Intel-based Mac. "That doesn't preclude someone from running it on a Mac," he said. "They probably will." However, Schiller said Apple does not plan to let users run Mac OS X on PCs. "We will not allow running Mac OS X on anything other than an Apple Mac."

this was discussed at length after the keynote speech on monday. There are probably over 100 posts on this in many separate threads.


Anyway, I love how "educated" some of the comments on that linked thread are

"if you torture data long enough it will comply"

I'm sure at this point all that'll be needed is a relatively simple patch to run it over Darwin. Though, like any third-party product, Apple will not support any version of Windows implementation on the Mac.
