Apple vs. AT&T shipping?

whose is faster? because people are waiting for shipments from Apple, but my friend ordered last monday and received his 5 days later from AT&T.

If you go to their websites, right off the bat...

AT&T says it ships in 7 -14 days. I also talked to 2 different reps that said the same thing.

Apple says 3 weeks.

That's enough difference for me that when the time comes, I'll order it from AT&T.

I had a horrible experience ordering from apple. They tried to make it right by sending me free bumpers, and a free ipod nano but still, no more ordering from them. But in reference to the 7-14 day shipping quote from Att: it is Business days while apple's 3 weeks is just that, 3 weeks so they are closer than you think. But from what Ive gathered, Att is shipping quicker and thats why I re-ordered from them after having to cancel an order placed with apple on june 19th that they messed up.
