What would happen if I bought the iPhone 5 on apple's website?

Crap, I just made the same thread...I'm in the same predicament although my upgrade date is actually 10/8 through vzw, but available now at apple

Exactly!!!! I wasn't available till Oct. 6 with VZW. For poops and giggles I look on the Apple site and it states I am eligible as of this past Sunday, a week early. I never did take my order to the very end but as of now it still gives me the earlier upgrade? Now just to find one!!! Best of luck to you and all!
