Apple warranty in regards to BAD ESN verizon iPhones

They honor the warranty BAD ESN or not, I don't think that is even in their system, the serial number is all that concerns them.

Bought a bad one on eBay for 200$ with warranty/ bad power button, go to apple and they gave me a new clean one!

This could make a lot of cheap ppl rich if this is true. Interesting. A bad ESN iPhone is worth at least 50% less. Interesting.

They could be rich if they all had a valid warranty issue with the phone, and the phone had warranty.

I would love for someone to try this NYC iPhones warranties are ONLY based off serial numbers as they have told me that so anyone wanna give it a try?
