ever since the new watchOS 26 and iOS 26 updates, I have to reconnect my watch to Bluetooth in order to receive notifications from my iPhone. They both show they are connected but nothing comes through to the watch until after I cycle through Bluetooth on my phone and reconnect it. This only happens after it’s been sitting on the charger overnight and I first put it on.

Is this a bug that anyone else has dealt with?

Might be a bug.

My 10 has been pretty reliable re notifications. Only wonky thing I've seen is that the push of Calendar and Reminders data has been slow/delayed, so will get a notification from one of these (generally Reminders) even though already deleted off iPhone/Mac.

Never charge overnight, usually first thing in the morning and post morning workout while showering.
