Hi, I want to buy an Apple Watch series 2 and have a quick question. Is it supporting multitasking? Or in other words, can I track my workout (calories, time, etc) while I use other app? Specifically I wanna track my workout while I use an app to keep track of sets and series in the gym.

Thanks

Yes, as long as the other app doesn't use the heart rate monitor. For instance, you can't run the "Breathe" app at the same time as Workout, because they both want to monitor your heart rate.

Multitasking on the watch for almost all built in apps works. Maps in the background, timers, workouts, music, etc. all run in the background

Yes. For example, you can set the timer and access other applications if you so choose.
