Hi guys and gals i was wondering does the new Apple watch 2 have a louder stronger speaker compared to the original one? Any input would be helpful.

Thanks, if its the same odds are i'll just get the discounted stainless steel ones on bestbuy

I just got it set up and made a couple of phone calls as well as received several text messages. In comparison to my original Apple Watch the volume seems louder and clarity certainly feels better. But that's just my opinion. I bought the new series 2 watch for the GPS, speed bump and improved brightness.

I had the original Apple Watch in the past, speaker was very low, very hard to hear people when using it to make phone calls. I now have the Watch Series 2 and noticed the volume is much louder and clearer; I think this mainly has to do with the redesign of the speaker. Apple brought the internal speaker closer to the case (for water resistance). I think they did great with that redesign there.
