I thought the Apple Watch 3 and Nike app would track your inclines and declines while running, using the barometric altimeter of the Watch.

I did a run today and it didn’t track it. Anyone else notice this?

Interesting. I wonder if the app has to be updated for it to work on the watch? It was my understanding that it would record incluses/ declines as well. The new Nike watch comes out oct 5, I'd expect the new verdi of the Nike app to come out around then as well. I'll bet that will include the necessary code. Does it work on the built in apple exercise app?

I haven’t tried using the built in workout app, as I use the Nike app and just got my Apple Watch 3 Friday.

We are many waiting for the new Nike updated app - a good gues is that it won’t track until it’s updated

Yep - NRC hasn't been updated for a month or so. Folks expect it will be updated at the time of the Nike watch version release next week and should support the AW3 features then.
