Alright... we all obviously know that the ECG feature is Apple Watch 4 specific due to the new sensors added. However, they specifically said that the Low Heart Rate and Atrial Fibrillation notifications are driven by the optical sensors on the watch. These are the same sensors already being used for the High Heart Rate notification.

So... my question is do we know if the Low Heart Rate and Atrial Fibrillation notifications are Apple Watch 4 specific? Or are they going to be made available through WatchOS 5 and be available to the Apple Watch 3 as well? I've yet to find a direct answer to that anywhere, but it seems to me that since the High Heart Rate notification is already on Apple Watch 3 with it's current sensors that those two new notifications should be a given.

I haven't seen those alerts mentioned in the Watch OS5 thread. Maybe they'll be added with the release version.
