Apple watch 4 purchased in the US - does it work in Canada?

My friend got me a SS apple watch series 4 in the US because I couldn't find anything in Canada.
Would the cellular function work in Canada?
Also does anyone know if the Apple Care plus would also work in Canada?

apple care plus warranty is international so you should not have any issues getting your watch repaired or replaced Apple does recommend you by locally for better service options but they should take care of the issue either way.
