Apple Watch 5 availability in Japanese Apple stores?

Hey there. I live in Europe and I’m going to Japan next week, and was thinking if buying the LTE version of the watch there, as it’s the same as the one in Europe, just 150$ cheeper.

My Japanese isn’t that good though, and as far as I can see, the Watch is not available in any Japanese Apple Stores? I do find that quite weird since it’s available nearly everywhere else.

Is anyone of you better than me in Japanese, or do you have experience with availability and shopping in Apple Stores in Japan?

If I remember correctly from my trip to Tokyo prices are so low in Japan because, like in the US, they don't include tax. Apple always have at least one staff who is fluent in English so shopping there physically shouldn't be an issue.

The AW LTE is available in Japan as well. You have to specify from which store you wanna pick up.

That’s true. But contrary to the US, foreigners can buy tax free in Japan (and Europe btw), which is nice.

I know it’s available, I just can’t figure out if it’s available at the store if I just decide to walk in and buy it. i don’t speak Japanese and I can’t figure out current availability at the Apple Store page.

I would go to a store in Tokyo. Probably the Marunouchi one.

Go to the Apple Store JP website > watch > buy > select watch > under the add to cart (big blue button) select the store location for pick up and enter the zip (postal) code.

For instance Ginza is 104-0061. If it's green your watch will be there today.

I’ve tried that many times, but no matter which store and watch combo I choose, I never see any green check marks. I only see this?
