Apple Watch 5, iOS 6.2 won’t connect to verizon data

Hey:

I am on the beta for this watch and even though it says that my Verizon plan is in place, my status shows no connection. Is this a quirk in the beta OS or do I need to bring the watch back to Apple? Anyone else with this issue?
