Hello,

At GA date, I upgraded from Watch 4 std to Watch 6 Cellular with Apple Care +.
I jog 3 to 4 times / week using Nike Run+. For one year things were fine.
6 months ago started a recurring pattern where I go running early morning with the Watch at 100pct battery, then at the end of the workout ( 60 to 90mn ) Watch goes on power reserve. When it does not, similar workout end with battery around 85pct.
Now 6 months later the problem occurs on half of my morning workouts.

I tries apple care calls twice and apple refused to do anything on the watch.
Battery health is 89pct.
Frustatringly, my watch 4 wifi still delivers full day battery life like a breeze, its battery health is 90pct

is this something another one of us witnessed ? Is there a known better fix other than reverting to series 4 ?

A couple of things I'd suggest because that doens't sound normal (I did see Goat's thread about others having the same issue). When I used my SEries 3 or 5 for an hour run, I would end with over 50% left (playing music, etc).

1. If it seems to drain the battery all the time, not just on workouts, I'd look for bad app installs. I had an issue where my battery was draining like crazy. I'd get about 8 hours out of a charge. It turns out the Audible app had installed wrong. I removed it, then reinstalled & never had the issue again.
2. Try another exercise app for one workout to see if it limits the issues. If the Apple workouts app doesn't cause the drain, you can always switch apps & eliminate the issue
3. As suggested above, try unpairing/ repairing. Its a little bit of a hassle off you have a lot of music stored, but not too bad.
