Hi all,
over the last 2-3 weeks I have come a cross a few issues with my Apple watch. It might be related to Beta software which i installed, but cannot be certain as the issue might have already been there, but not realised.
My issues are:
- whenever my iPhone is out of reach, i cannot receive phone calls on my Apple Watch. I stopped taking my phone to the gym and the Missus failed to contact me multiple times and eventually managed to get through after many attempts. That issue happens repeatedly.
- my location is showing the phone rather than my watch when I am out of reach of my phone. That used to be different
- when I restart my Apple watch, the newly created Portrait Watch Face that I have build for my watch is showing in the watch app, but the watch cannot activate it. It defaults back to the Nike face. Can't swipe the watch screen and when i press the option in the watch app nothing happens
I do get all notifications on my watch, thats no issue. Weirdly enough, I can make outbound calls and send messages.
I am thinking it could be a settings issue, but can't see anything.
My data plan is active and live. I have un- and paired my watch multiple times, but issue still persists.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the issue?
Could it be related to the beta software? I mean i guess there is a chance... watchOS beta cannot be taken off, which is a bummer...
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Markus
