Was there ever any doubt at all? ;-)This is always a market indicators when retailers are clearing out inventory with great deals on current and past gen Apple devices
Wow. That's right around the corner. I wonder if there will be big design changes. CNET posted that there might be a "rugged" version AW.Coming in September / October
Of course it is coming, every fall a new one comes. It won't come before then.

Apple has done so for the past 6 or so years, no reason for them to change their schedules. And IMO third party sellers discounting the S7 is not a sign of ‘the S8 coming’This is always a market indicators when retailers are clearing out inventory with great deals on current and past gen Apple devices
So you think September/October time frame???I think the actual proof is that Apple has released a new series every year since 2015 without fail.
The sales are just natural and happen every year around this time.
Series 8 won’t be released until at least September and even then you might be waiting for a few weeks to get hold of one if you are looking at ordering any of the popular colours / combinations.

You want a "rugged" version buy a $12 rubber AW case off Amazon instead of handing Apple what will probably be a $300-400 upcharge...just to compete with Garmin price points.Wow. That's right around the corner. I wonder if there will be big design changes. CNET posted that there might be a "rugged" version AW.

Well. I got the Herms Series 7 AW and a couple Hermes bands to go with the aesthetics. There were rumors about a design change into square edges. I hope that's not the case, and when Series 8 rolls out with the same round edge design, I will sigh a sigh a relief because I intend to keep my watch for at least 3 years. I don't want my AW to look dated...We‘re only at the mid-way point in the AW7 life-cycle. Six months away is not what I call around the corner. ?
I wish also for battery life of multiple days, but i am afraid it won’t happen untill complete new battery technology arrivesI'm certainly interested in a model with extended battery life. Not too concerned about the "rugged" features but they're interesting too.
Yet Garmin is able to achieve this on some of their OLED watches.I wish also for battery life of multiple days, but i am afraid it won’t happen untill complete new battery technology arrives
April, May, June seems to be where you can save 25% or more on a new watch.
No, a 40mm S7 watch doesn't exist. I kid...I'm sure you meant the 41mm.So, you’re saying that I can snag a 40mm Series 7 with Cellular — which would normally cost $500 — for $375?!! Or, even less?!!
I'm truly surprised, even shocked, by that.
Do other people agree that 25%+ discounts on new Apple Watches are typical in the spring?

I think it’s more to do with WatchOS and smart functions needing to continuously run in the background.
