Guys - if I set an alarm in the watch should it also show in clock app on the phone? I do have “push alerts from iPhone” selected in the iPhone watch app but watch alarms aren’t getting pushed to phone. The other way is working

Thx

You need to set the alarm on the phone, then it will ‘push’ it to the watch. That’s why the setting is ‘push alerts FROM iPhone’

if you only set it on the watch, it assumes that’s the only device you want the alarm on. Makes sense if you wear the watch to bed and don’t want the phone blasting as well.

Here's a question/issue I'm hoping someone can answer...

I seem to recall that if my phone and watch were pretty far from each other, if I snooze or stop an alarm on my watch, it would snooze or stop on my phone. There might be a little bit of a lag before it happens, but it would eventually snooze or stop. Lately, that doesn't seem to work anymore. When separated, if I snooze or stop an alarm on my watch, it just keeps going on my phone. Even when they're back in range with each other, the same alarm on my phone just keeps ringing until I snooze or stop it on my phone. Being on the same WiFi network doesn't seem to make a difference.

Anyone else notice this or have this issue?

I dont have this. I have a daily alarm. it shows on both my iPhone and watch (sadly not my iPad) and can be cancelled on either.

The AW and the phone also communicate via wireless, so they can be really rather far apart and still be in solid communication. Without the WiFi, they have to communicate via Bluetooth and then things get dodgy after maybe 50 feet less any walls or other obstructions.

Yes, and this happens when my watch and phone are close to each other. But when they’re far apart, such as if I leave my phone in my room and I’m in my office on the other side of my house with my watch on, they both ring when they’re supposed to but if I snooze the alarm on my watch, it keeps ringing on my phone. This happens even though they’re both on the same WiFi network. I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix it or if it’s a “feature” now.

That’s the thing, they are both on the same WiFi network. But the alarm keeps going on my phone even after I snoozed it or stopped it on my watch. It’s like my watch doesn’t think it’s on my WiFi network.
