So I took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge for a couple days last weekend. I had every intention of leaving my watch in the room but then I realized the Credit Card readers worked with apple pay so I figured instead of carrying around my c-card to pay for lunch and what not each day I would just wear the watch and see how it goes. I have a 42mm SS BSB for the record. Let's just say after 3 days of Waterpark slides and pools 8 hours each day including a couple trips to the hot tub the watch appears to work just fine. I realize Apple says it's not recommended but then Apple doesn't recommend jail breaking phones but people do that all the time. In any case I thought I would share my experiences in real life water abuse of the watch.

Awesome. Great to know. I plan on wearing my old watch for the pool and beach this summer but maybe I don't have to.

Do you think the WATCH would be more susceptible to problems when exposed to ocean water (salt and other minerals) vs. municipal water (from a shower) vs. chlorinated water (pool)?

This question should be posed to Bill Nye the Science Guy

Yes, I think so. I would try that last.

Worked great in Vegas this past weekend. Sunday Nightswim with Skrillex was insane. Splashing and splashing and the Watch was fine :)

^^ Guess urine doesn't affect it either because those Vegas pools turn into one big piss pond full of drunks ;)
