Apple Watch apps don't maintain their location after updates

Has anyone who has made a custom app layout on the Apple Watch "home" screen noticed that when an app updates, it does not stay in the same place you originally had it? This is very frustrating. The apps are already a huge pain to rearrange as is...

My layout is where it was prior to the update.

I think the OP means the application updating and not the 1.0.1 update for the watch.
