All of the parts for the Apple Watch are coming from overseas, however, the watch itself is being constructed in the US, per apple online chat. For those of us with 4/24-5/8 delivery estimates I think we will receive on launch day. :apple::apple::apple:

I think people have to stop treating online chat reps as if they know what they're talking about. I think we would've heard about this if it were the case, no?

When I did the try-on at the Apple Store I noticed that the "Made in China, Designed in California" text was on the inside of the band slot, only visible when you take off the band. Just FYI if anyone is curious about that, haha.

It is mostly machine assembled in china with very little handwork involved.

Properly PR Speak for, take out watch, attach straps, give to costumer.

I.E. The milanese loop is woven on special Italian machines, but do they say in Italy, no, those machines are in asia somewhere.

Ok maybe my eyes are bad but where in that photo does it say "made in China"? And don't Apple products these days say assembled in China?
He responds to a question.
