I got an Apple Watch today for Christmas and to say I love it would be an understatement, it’s gorgeous. However I have noticed there is slight movement from where the silicone band is connected to the Watch, it wobbles a very tiny bit, is this normal? Thanks

Anyone else near you, have an Apple watch? Is it the same for their watch?

Also, remove the band, and reconnect it again. I have an Apple Watch 4, and don't have said 'wobble' - unless I just don't understand exactly...

The question is how much will it move? If you put one of the straps in upside down (or inside out) then it won’t stay secure and will move quite a bit.

The way to be sure is that the size markings should be on the inside of the band; there should be no writing on the outside of the band.

its just a small amount of movement. the band are on the correct way, can putting them on the wrong way damage the watch at all? Thanks

There’s always a slight tolerance with play with the band sliding in the port. It’s been that way since the first generation Apple Watch launched in 2015.

I would also say it depends on the band. Sport bands will usually wiggle a bit but my other nylon and stainless bands have a very tight fit with no play.
