Apple Watch band question.

I read that the 45mm bands will fit the Series 6 but can anyone tell me if the 44mm bands will fit the 7?

I was wondering this myself. I want to upgrade from my 44mm S5 to the new S7 but I have some bands with which I'm loath to replace. Meanwhile, there is a new band in Plum Crazy (a.k.a. Deep Cherry) I'd like to use on my S5 that's only available in 41mm/45mm. As long as the S5 and S7 bands are interchangeable I'll be lining up for the latest/greatest from . And taking my bands with me.
