Apple Watch battery drain, and powered off without warning.

All of a sudden, my Apple Watch Edition, Series 3 powered off without any warning. It just stopped working. I had to hold in the side button to turn it back on, and when I did, it showed that it had only 37% battery life (I put it on this morning at around 10am, and in 12 hours it used up 63% battery.. Completely out of character for this watch.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this? Has your watch just shut off on you? And/or consumed a huge amount of power for no good reason?

If a rogue app went wild, yeah, it's happened. Not often, though -- maybe only three times in two years -- and a restart cleared it up.
