Apple Watch Cellular “No Connection” Issue

Hi, i have been having constant issues with my Apple Watch Series 7 in that my O2 data plan seems to lose signal and keeps showing “No Connection” however today i have discovered if i leave my home for a walk and leave my iphone at home, as long as i dont lock the screen on my iphone, my watch keeps its cellular connection whilst im out? Has anyone else been experiencing this at all? Both iphone and watch are running the latest ios available. TIA

Hi, I’ve been having very similar symptoms to you with my Apple Watch Ultra, and have raised the issue on the O2 community forums. Could I ask if you’ve found a resolution, but also, could you contribute to the ever growing number of people on the forum below? I think for O2 to take it seriously, they need to see its effecting more than the odd person. Many thanks.

Update from me: spoke to O2 finally, and they did a reset on my eSIM, and told me to disconnect then re-add my Ultra and then my data. I did all of it and it has made no difference at all.
