New to the Apple Watch game. My wife just bought a Series 6 GPS model. I liked it so much I'm thinking of getting a cellular model. In scanning the internet, I see 3 options, Unlocked, ATT and Verizon. If I were to buy an ATT version, could I use it on the Verizon network instead?

There seems to be a very limited supply of Series 6 watches available. I'm guessing the supply is mostly sold out with the Series 7 about to debut later this year. If I get one, I want to be sure I can use it with my Verizon account. I do see a few that say ATT on them and don't want to be stuck not being able to use one on my Verizion setup.

From my understanding, Apple Watches are not carrier locked. The only stipulation is that your iPhone and Watch must be on the same carrier.

My Apple watch has the cellular option. Yesterday I set the watch up for cellular and it made a connection with Verizon, stating I'm now being charged $10 a month.

This morning I was in the "control center" and tapped on the celluler icon, immediately getting a message "Plan No Sim" Status, No connection.

Anyone know what No Sim means on my 6 series watch?

While it may not be a factor, my temp iPhone is a SE with a 5G sim in it. I realize my SE doesn't support 5G and the only reason it's in the phone is I've sold my 12 Mini and will replace it with a 13 Mini. My SE is a backup phone and it needs a sim. Rather than go to the Verizon store to put a non 5G sim, I thought I would just get by with the 5G for a few weeks.

Sounds like an issue on the Verizon end in provisioning the watch.

From your phone open the Watch app, then tap on Cellular and see what it says for Cellular Plan.

Maybe try dropping and creating a new plan?

Otherwise you're probably going to need to talk to Verizon support.

Looks like Verizon finally connected up. What is the icon right below the cellular icon in the Control Center. Looks like a phone with "noise" coming out of it.

To help locate your iPhone if you can’t find it. Pressing it will ring your iPhone. Press and hold will ring and flash the LED.

@Itinj24 is correct - I use that feature pretty frequently when I've forgotten where in the house I've left my phone. Haven't ever "held" though, I just tap it and it'll cause the phone to ping once. I guess holding down on it would keep it going?

Flashlight is also super handy at times - particularly in a dark room so as not to trip over the dog.
