Apple Watch crown

i have a quick question. Just got the original Apple Watch. I'm not sure how loose the crown should feel when I turn it, I'm wondering if mine is too loose. It doesn't turn without me intentionally turning it, but it also does not offer much resistance, very light touches cause it to turn. Is this normal?

That's completely normal. In fact, the watch would be pretty much a dud if you received one where the crown offers a lot of resistance. Apple is exchanging them if you run into one that has that problem.

The crown can get a little sticky over time (sweat, etc...). Apple recommends a light rinse under a trickle of warm water if so.
