So, I am trying to get a better idea how I am doing step/walk/run wise and I noticed an interesting conundrum.
Depending on if my Apple Watch S2 has top priority or iPhone has top priority, my Steps and Walking + running distance do not match/add up with what is presented on the Activity pages and total data for individual activity in the Health App.

Also, lately, I noticed that if I start an outdoor walk, my start and end points are all over the places (like different streets etc), while before it was right on money (my front door for both start and end).

Does anyone have any recommendation on what is the proper setup between AW and iPhone as far as the data sources go?? Any idea why my GPS work out location is soo wrong now?

I went to the following on my iPhone...Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness > Turn OFF Fitness Tracking.

What happens when you turn that off is, all of your health and fitness activity will now only be pulled from your Apple Watch and not your iPhone.

When it is enabled, your iPhone is tracking your steps, gps, etc. along with your watch and you get multiple readings.

Hope this helps. It helped me regarding the accuracy of my health data.
