I have an Apple Watch Series 2 synced to my iPhone 7 Plus and I noticed that I am getting duplicate emails and calendar alerts on my work account. My work is setup through Airwatch, but not sure if anyone else has experienced this type of issue.
I restarted the Watch and the Phone. I also deleted my work email and calendars synching in the mail app (then re-added), but I haven't been able to fix the notification problem yet.
