It'd be the people that want to show that they can. I mean lots of things cost lots of money but those things aren't advertised. Like I can't tell a $100 watch from a $100k watch. But you get a watch that has been advertised as costing $10k+ and people _know_. So yeah basically people who want to display their wealth.

When you have a million plus in the bank ... $10k is nothing. The edition watch is only for those who don't need to justify anything.

Just because you don't have the money. The Edition is targeted at people who just spends $10k for fun - to get a gold Apple Watch. They'll buy a sports car for fun one day if they're bored.

And trust me: China is the target audience of the Edition watch.

Sorry, but given the price and supposed quality of the product, that box is comes in is a total embarrassment.

If I were Apple, I'd be ashamed of selling such a high end product in a plastic box like that with with stuck on fuzz inside it.

Its a watch not a phone or a computer. Dont expect anything other than software updates for the next few years.

Is it just me or does the white fluoroelastomer band look wildly out of place on a $10,000 watch?

Just the fact that it is included with the Sport for $349 makes it completely ridiculous.

Just the fact that it is included with the Sport for $349 makes it completely ridiculous.

I kind of like it but it does look out of place. To me, I feel like it pulls more attention to the watch itself more than a more elaborate band would.
