The other day I saw an awesome ad on TV, either on YouTube TV, or Hulu, that showed an emergency call from a person's Apple Watch. I'm not talking about the (also super cool) ad that has the 3 people, one in an accident, another on a paddle board taken out to sea, and the third person was a farmer that fell apparently in a well.
This ad was simply what emergency services hears when the watch makes the call for someone unconscious. I've searched, and the "3 people" ad is readily available, but I cannot find the one with the emergency services call. All I remember is that it gave exact coordinates within "X" meters, and ended with "This message will repeat in 5 seconds"..
Anyone know/seen this ad, or am I dreaming?
TIA

I've seen it once. Would've been YTTV.

I remember being a little surprised the computer generated voice seemed more "robotic" than Siri usually sounds.

Edit - found a version of it I think.

Yes, it's that ad, but the one I saw was quite a bit longer. I wonder where it went, perhaps some Samsung Fan-Boys complained enough that Apple pulled it. I think it was quite a powerful ad, but then, I'm not in marketing, what do I know. :D

Yes, the one I saw on YTTV was longer - something about "this message will repeat in five seconds..."

I can imagine all the spouses pestering their outdoorsy mate to go get an apple watch.... :D

(seriously though, while I own a cellular AW for a variety of other reasons, this ability does sooth my wife's worries when I'm out on solo runs or bicycle rides)

The one I saw was during an NFL broadcast on linear cable TV and it was longer than that Twitter post.

So does the fall feature work if the watch was not purchased with cellular capability? If it is a WiFi only watch and the paired iPhone is not with it will it still call 911? I am assuming it does not??

No, without the iPhone the non-cellular watch is still a non-cellular watch.

But the cellular watch without a phone plan WILL call 911.

I assumed as much. I knew the cellular watch will make calls as I have done so on mine many times. Thanks!
