It'll be after all pre-orders are honoured. I'd say it'd be quicker to order now than wait to buy in store, and if I'm wrong you can always cancel before your card gets charged.

That's odd, I thought relying on random people on the Internet for information was the pathetic part.
Watch bands are now in stores yet not all of the preorders are fulfilled. Apple will not fill all preorders before stocking stores.
Theres a sticky with information on this. As far as I'm aware it's chargers only on shelves at the moment.

No this is actual fact, right now there are watch bands available in stores yet one that I ordered weeks ago is still processing.
