My wife and I haven't worn our Apple watches (Series 5) a ton lately and we decided to get them back on... However, we are having issues with them. When we walkie talkie each other, we can't hear each other, or sometimes one can hear and the other can't. The connections drops after a few seconds or we just fail to connect over and over. Same with just calling each other via the watches as well. Is this from the OS update or is there something else going on or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can’t say I ever had a problem with calling but is it possible you’re in a weak connection spot?
As for Walkie-Talkie, you’re not alone. It’s been buggy since it launched. A lot of complaints about it but I don’t think Apple ever addressed it. It works via FaceTime audio. I’d say it works for me maybe 75% of the time.
