As per the title?
If you’re not into fitness, what is it about the AW that you love/couldn’t be without?

I wish that were true for me. If I stop moving, my waistline instantly grows. Joy of being over 50.I am not into fitness anymore because I found out that I am naturally fit without putting in any effort.
Same. I just turned 54.I wish that were true for me. If I stop moving, my waistline instantly grows. Joy of being over 50.
I didn't initially get it for that reason, but the watch really helped me to "get out there" more. In short, it motivated me. Sorry, don't want to start that thread again ...![]()
Short Story - AW probably saved my life
TL;DR;
During the 90's and early 2000's I was fairly fit and played beach volleyball 3 or 4 times a week, along with weight training. After my first daughter was born (mid 2000) I had to dial that back a bit and changes in work requirements required travel etc. Add knee injury to that and the next 5 or so years I gained a lot of weight and it was like a downward spiral. Along with that I developed sleep apnea and the things that go along with that (High BP, pre diabetes).
So FF to Fall 2019 I was 6'2" and 375lbs. My wife got me a AW 5 for our anniversary. For a week or so I wore it and it bugged me about getting my butt out of the chair and to breathe.
Well I took it to heart....by eating less and being more active. I came up with a 2 year plan to lose weight and get back to volleyball....
So now its almost 2022 - I'm down to 28lbs, off the BP meds...I still use CPAP just because I used to it. I'm also back to volleyball league this fall....and feel great....
Now my knees are still not happy about the volleyball but 95 less lbs is great for them. I'd like to drop 30 more then off to the orthopedic to see what they say
Some people poo poo wearables "I don't need no watch to remind me to whatever". And that's great, to each their own..
