Apple Watch LTE: Unlocked?

title says it all. lets say I purchase a watch from AT&T because they have faster shipping times, can I activate on Sprint? I don’t thought you’ll have to go through an unlock portal because it has an e-sim so it should be factory unlocked but I’m just wondering if these have been carried locked somehow possibly, if at all. Thoughts?
 
I believe you can carry your Watch with you to another carrier without any problem. There are no contracts on the Watch unlike the iPhone.
