I use a Bluetooth heart reminder for when I have a weightlifting session for better accuracy. I got my watch early December of last year and everything was working fine but in the last month however my watch can't seem to maintain a stable connection to my heart rate monitor. I had being using all this time a polar h7 when the problem started happening. I thought since it had been over seven months since I got it that the battery needed to be replaced. I did and the problem still persisted. Also rebooted the watch to know avail. I relented and purchase a wahoo tickr from apples own web store. Have only had it for one week and everything was fine for the first couple of days but the problem has cropped up again. Spoke with a AppleCare advices who recommended me I unpair the watch, I reset it and repair again to isolate the root of the issue. We ran a diagnostics test and everything seem fine to him hardware wise. I'm not sure wether it's a software bug from watchOS or is it just my watch? It's hard to tell. Anyone have had similar experiences?
PS: the issue is that even though I successfully get the HRM to appear under Bluetooth devices and pair it won't maintain a connection long enough for it to work. Let's say I just paired it and in less than minute the watch says that the HRM is not paired. Sometimes it would lose connection in the middle of my workout leaving me with the optical HRM.
