1) Apple Watch Ultra 3 screen looks a bit better than my Apple Watch 1. The experience seems snappier too. That said, I didn’t walk away with the feeling it was a must have upgrade. I may upgrade eventually but waiting for now

2) Space Grey Series 11 and Midnight SE both look good. I was surprised by how sleek the space grey looked. It can go well with both light and dark bands

3) Wasn’t a big fan of the green ocean band. Blue alpine loop looks pretty good. I also like the new trail loops. I may end up getting the blue (I wanted to look at green, but the store didn’t have it)

4) Black titanium Milanese on the black ultra is a killer look

I got the green trail loop with my Ultra 3. I don't love it; I like it better than my original trail loop with the Ultra, the blue/grey, but now I think I would have been happier with the blue.

I've worn an ocean band most of the time, and I may switch back.

I did upgrade from an Ultra because my battery was at 88% health and it was getting hard to get through some days. For me the biggest upgrades are the seconds showing on always-on watch faces; double-tap support; local Siri (I'm often in places with very poor reception); and we'll see how wrist-flick works out.

I have the same grey blue trail loop. The new ones seem more durable. I like the blue.

I was at the Apple Store trading in my AWU 1 as part of the purchase of my 3. While I was working with the employee on everything a couple comes and starts checking out my old watch thinking it was a display model. They had no idea. The only reason I upgraded was because the water seals on my old one were no good anymore and it would threaten to call 911 every time a drop of water came near the thing. The only reason I’m not more miffed is because with the trade in and some gift cards from work I was only out $100. I can BARELY tell the difference between the two. I don’t blame you for waiting. My goal is to make it at least 6 years with this one (yes I got Apple Care this time). And after that we’ll see if I still even want an Apple Watch or I put the money toward a decent mechanical watch like a Hamilton instead.

Funny, I was considering starting a Space Gray-centric thread but figured no one on the watch forums really cares about the non-titanium models/Ultras. Anyway, swapped my Series 9 Silver for a Space Gray 11 and am super pleased with the look. Kind of figured it would basically be the same finish as my MacBook Air but it's a little darker and definitely has a subtle sheen to it. When I glanced at a display model in store I almost thought it was an Ultra haha. And while I'd love to rock an Ultra or even a Ti model, I've tried both and my job doesn't play nicely with thick watches and precious metals. So low risk aluminum it is, and I think Apple nailed it with Space Gray. MUCH better looking and more versatile than Jet Black IMO.
