Where I am
A few months back, when I last used my Apple Watch 4, I could have sworn when the watch was on the charger, it showed the time; all the time. Sort of a 'Bedside Mode' feature of sorts.

Am I mistaken? Has an update/feature removed this?

PS: I do have the 'Bedside Mode' feature on, in my watch settings.

Nope not all the time. You have to ‘move’ the watch to wake up the accelerometer to display the time.

Having said that, when I very first enabled it on mine the display stayed on the clock non-stop. I knew it wasn’t meant to so took the watch off the charger and put it back on again and it’s never done it since.
