Apple Watch on iPad?

Hey

It was my fathers 60th birthday last week and we decided to buy him an Apple Watch as his main present.

He loves the new watch and the functionality it offers but he’s asked how can he view his watch information on his iPad. I’ve had a play around myself but I can’t seem to find this information anywhere on his iPad. Is there a way to get his information on the iPad?

Does he not have an iPhone?

You said he was enjoying the functionality, so I'm assuming it was paired with an iPhone (or it wouldn't do anything).

Apple really needs to allow activity and health apps on the iPad. It's really stupid I can't pick up my iPad and have the same information as what is on my phone.
