So I’ve been on holiday away from home for about a week. Wasn’t able to bring my Series 0 Apple Watch along with me. I’m currently running the public beta GM version of iOS 11 and the battery life on my iPhone 7 Plus has been alright, not great but good enough. I updated to the GM version while I was away.

So now I’m back home. Turn on my Apple Watch after about a week and connect via Bluetooth... just the normal.

But my god it’s absolutely destroying my battery life on my iPhone. I’m actually witnessing for the first time watching my % go down right before my eyes, I’ve never actually noticed it before. It’s gone from 55% town to 46% in the matter of minutes. Like what the actual hell?

(My Apple Watch hasn’t been updated to watchOS 4 yet)
