My Apple Watch S1 doesn't appear on my iPhone X's "Calls on other device" list.

I've tried unpairing/pairing. Reset Apple Watch, Erase all contents on Watch but still doesn't appear on the list.

I've switched from iPhone 6s Plus to iPhone X. I've unpaired it first from the 6s Plus before pairing it to the iPhone X.

However, I'm able to call and receive calls on my Apple Watch even when the phone is turned off.

Just wondering why the Apple Watch doesn't appear on the list of devices where I can forward calls.

Bug? Anyone else having the same issue?

Thanks!

I don’t think the watch has ever been listed?

Those devices ring in parallel when your phone rings as part of apple’s continuity features.

The watch is paired with the phone and so if it’s unlocked it it will ring when your phone does.

If your phone is off I’d not expect anything to ring - your phone has no connection to the cellular network.

Yes it was listed, on my iPhone 6s Plus it was.

My AW still rings when my phone is off maybe only works while in the same wifi but my point is my AW isn't listed in "Calls on other devices" but i'm able to make and receive calls.
