Apple Watch S4: Can I keep screen always on while in stopwatch & timer?

On the Apple Watch Series 4 (LTE):
Is there a way to keep the screen always on while using the Stopwatch and Timer apps?

I am afraid not. I do not know of any setting or app that keeps the screen on all the time or when using certain apps..

Leave your finger on the screen and it will stay active until you take it off (and another 15 or 75 seconds longer, depending on settings).

Ok if you need the screen on for 30 seconds or a minute, not so good if you are wanting it to stay on for several minutes...
