Does anyone else have this problem? I have Skype installed on my phone and on my Apple Watch Series 4. But I've found that it's nearly useless on my Apple Watch. Sometimes I might be too busy to answer on my phone, so I'll dictate a response via Skype using voice. It will show exactly what I've said once dictated, and I'll hit send. And it SEEMS like it has sent.

However, it won't send at all. I only discovered this after numerous times where I won't get a reply back from the person I messaged, or I do get a message back asking me to respond. Then it's not until I open that Skype app on my iPhone X that the message that I dictated on my Apple Watch actually sends.

This is counterintuitive and downright maddening. Am I the only experiencing this?

You have Skype installed on your watch! How? They don't seem to have an watch app, when i look in app store

Or perhaps it is just notifications you are getting.

I haven't yet tried responding from watch, but is Skype allowed to run in background on your phone?

Perhaps you should report it to MicroSoft.
