Here's my first comparison. Garmin F5 on GPS/Glonass, 1 second recording. HR on Garmin is from Scosche Rhythm Plus, which I've tested to be identical to Polar HR strap. Garmin worn on right wrist. Cadence and other running dynamics on Garmin are from Stryd foot pod. Elevation corrections on Garmin Connect ENABLED.

Apple watch using stock workout app and stock HR sensor (with patch shaved underneath,, one notch tighter than normal, and sweat band worn above watch on forearm). Cadence from....well, arm swings. Worn on normal left wrist.

I'm a 55 year old casual/fitness runner, so no great distance or pace here.

Very impressed with AW4. It show me on exact path including on sidewalk both directions of run. Garmin had me in middle of road vs sidewalk in at least one direction. I had not worn the Garmin in a few weeks, and it had not had a GPS "soak" in quite some time. Still, the AW was just start and go.... AW also had near exact same HR, Cadence. Though the AW had 3.19 miles and the Garmin had 3.12, I tend to believe the AW based on known distances.

Date on the Garmin run shows yesterday because I had to fool it--Garmin Connect won't capture identical runs at same time on same day. This is why weather and date are showing different.

I use RunGap to export my Health and Garmin activities to everywhere....
