Hello,

Launch day Series 8 AW Hermes Stainless Steel. Woke up this morning, grabbed watch off the charger and the crown is completely stuck and sunk in. Completely bizarre. It wont turn, at all. Like it's glued.

Ran it under water for 5 mins, and I can slightly move it. But it's still stuck. Wtf happened? Lol. Im at a loss. It's been perfect since launch including last night.

Any advice besides contacting Apple. Thats a last resort bc Id rather not replace this one. I do have AC+

Sometimes I run the watch under warm/hot water, turn the crown while doing this. It should be fine. Good luck!!

Yeah im gonna let it run for like 20 mins. im just wondering how it happened?
Sometimes it just builds up and then it’s harder to turn. The sunken in part might worry me though. Haven’t had that happen. You may also want to use a soft thin item (like a post it note) to see if gunk is around the crown.

The post it note worked very well plus I let it sit under water for 15 mins. Working much better, hoping it doesnt get like that again. So strange though.
