Amazon is discounting the 40mm GPS Apple Watch SE to $169.00 today, down from $249.00. This is a match for the best price that we've ever seen on the Apple Watch SE, and it's available in Starlight, Silver, and Midnight Aluminum color options.

I got an SE last year to dip my toe in and start tracking exercise and sleep. I eventually found it rather limiting, and that the step up to the Series 10 was very worthwhile for the always-on screen, faster UI and a few other features. For me, mainly it got very tiresome to glance at my wrist a million times a day and see a blank screen when I wanted to glance at the time of day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would never ever buy an Apple product from Amazon, they make it a complete hassle to return your money should you decide to return it for some reason or the other.

My SE2 has served me well.
However the battery health is down below 80% and the cost to get a new battery is not worth it.

The original iWatch SE was supported slightly less than four years. This is a second gen iWatch SE, which was released two years and ten months ago, so it should be good for a year before it’s obsolete and unsupported.

(For the third time: ) $169 is not a record low price for this watch. $149 was the record low during part of the Black Friday 2024 sale period. My wife is enjoying her $149 Apple Watch SE from Amazon — and $20 (plus sales tax) extra in her wallet. Walmart matched Amazon’s price at that time. Amazon Prime membership was not required to get that $149 price.

Why so obsessed, dude? Take control of your time rather than letting time take control of you. Apple is all about being cool!
