A friend bought an Apple Watch SE for his daughter and is using Family Member with No iPhone option. For some reason the apps from his iPhone aren't installing on the Watch or even visible in the Watch app. Any ideas what might be the issue?

The iphone apps won‘t install by default on the watch since the phone does not belong to the person using the watch. If he wants the watch apps to install, he can do it manually or try toggling on the mirroring the watch with the phone option.
