My wife has a relatively new Series 1. Her battery doesn't make it through the day. After wearing for about 8 hours, the watch is around 15%. She only uses it for notifications. It is running Watch OS4. Any clue why this would be happening?

My Series 1 is just the opposite. Since updating to Watch OS4 the battery seems to last forever. I admit I don't use the watch for much except for a watch and for email and messages, but it used to get down to 40% or less in a day and now I never get lower than 85%. Has my battery gotten better or is the difference because of the new update? Right now it's at 95% and has been on my arm for 12 hours.

That’s so weird. I wonder why it’s so different from my wife’s watch. Uses are almost exact.

Could be a rogue app. Have you tried powering down the watch, then powering back up but then not launching any apps just to benchmark battery life with noting but native apps loaded? After I updated to Watch OS 4 the Bleacher Report killed my battery. Turned it off and no battery issues. I have a Series 0 though just FYI.

I will try that. Thanks.

So update... this morning my wife went to put her watch on and noticed the screen has popped off. So her battery drain must have been due to her battery swelling.

Swelling battery? did you get it fixed?
