Apple Watch Series 1 microphone not working

I think this has been the case for quite a while, but looking into it now in case I upgrade and give this away. Anything I should check. If I take a call or try to use Siri/dictation I cant be heard.

There will be a hole somewhere for the microphone.
Make sure it hasn't got any dirt in it and it isn't covered by anything.

Tried this. No improvement
