Apple Watch series 2 and Powerbeats3

Hi, I have both beatsX and Powerbeats3. Both are running the W1 chip and both pairs work faultlessly with my iPhone 7 Plus. However the Powerbeats continue to cut out when paired with my watch in the Gym.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this would be please?

Righto, update. I’ve tried my pair of BeatsX running off the watch and these cut out as well too. Seems to be the Bluetooth between the watch and earphones is more fragile that from the iPhone to the earphones. Any ideas why folks?

Hmm. I don’t have the beats 3, but I do have both AirPods and beats x and both connect well to my watch with almost no issues with dropping the connection.
