I have had the new Apple Watch sport series 2 for 6 months now. I have been swimming running and biking with it. I just had to return the watch to a repair center for replacement since the microphone stopped working. I swim about 3-6 times per week and swim about 3-7 k per session. The watch worked as advertised for 6 months until last week (03/03/2017). My question is this, Do I need to take any additional care of the watch besides whats prescribed by Apple? Will the microphone on the watch stop working again after another 6 months? Since the current warranty is now reduced from 12 months to 90 days with the new replacement. I have apple care. Was this a once of defect or is this a trend of microphones that stop working on the watch after a certain time?

Series 2 is advertised as being water resistant to 50 meters. This sounds like it's a one-time defect.

I am aware of the capabilities of the watch, I have found similar stories online and was wondering if this is a trend?
