Yeah, but it won't work with WatchOS 4. You're gonna have to upgrade (or stick the watch in a drawer until you're happy with iOS 11 and are willing to make the upgrade).

Edit: Apple never did a build of WatchOS 3 for the S3 (at least not that they released externally). You're stuck with WatchOS 4 and iOS 11 if you want to use them together.

does anybody know a way to get this work? Ios 11 kills my iphone 7 battery
If your phone is having battery draining issues, set it up as new. iOS 11 has better battery life on both my 7Plus and Air 2 after setting it up as new. On my 8Plus, battery life is great. (Also set up as new).

I tried that and it was still draining like hell
